FOUNDER

Nicole is a Philly native, Puerto Rican, neurodivergent, Educational Advocate whose lived experiences and experience as a parent to a son with special education needs drives her vision of helping to create a fully inclusive and equitable society. She believes strongly in the right to a quality education assuring success and maximizing the potential for every student.

Nicole holds a Bachelor of Science, is a founding member of the PA Inclusion Collective, completed SEAT 2 training and is a COPAA member. She created ESEL a project aimed at combatting the school to prison pipeline funded by the PADDC and Executive Produced Divided Attention: When The Children Who Need The Most Receive The Least, an Emmy Nominated documentary about the importance of mindfulness programming and inequitable school funding.

EDUCATION ADVOCATE

Dr. Nancy Giagnacova is a dedicated Educational Advocate and Consultant with over 20 years of experience in the field of public school education. Her journey began as a teacher and evolved into roles such as Director of Special Education, where she has made significant contributions to the development of inclusive and supportive learning environments.

Dr. Giagnacova holds a firm belief that every child can learn, and she is committed to ensuring that each student receives a truly individualized education. She specializes in collaborating with school districts to create comprehensive Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that cater to the unique needs of students. Renowned for her innovative thinking and resourcefulness, Dr. Giagnacova excels in leveraging available resources to maximize student support.

Her areas of expertise include virtual schooling, ADHD/ADD, executive functioning, specific learning disabilities, and mental health. Dr. Giagnacova offers advanced coaching and document review for IEP and 504 meetings, conducts parent workshops to promote academic success, and connects families of disabled children with relevant community resources and programs.

Driven by her passion for lifelong learning, Dr. Giagnacova holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Villanova University, a Master’s Degree in Special Education from Rider University, and a Doctorate Degree from Immaculata University. She is recognized as a distinguished presenter at both local and national conferences.

Dr. Giagnacova's scholarly contributions include publications such as "Faculty Perceptions of Accommodations for College and University Students With Learning Disabilities" and "Catholic and Public Schools in America from 1866-1910." Her dedication to the field of education and her commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments make her a highly respected figure in her field.

DOG

Lovey is a Philly born Pup who supports diversity, equity, and inclusion. An excellent nonverbal communicator. She exudes love and enjoys scratches, getting the zoomies, and loafing about showing off her pink coat. Lovey is a certified emotional support dog who loves to receive as much emotional support as she gives.
