Mendez Advocacy LLC, is grateful to be the recipient of the MAGIC Charities MAP (Magic Advocacy Program) whose mission is "to advocate for and invest in the well-being of children." Through this award and partnership Mendez Advocacy offers low to no cost education advocacy to adoptive and foster families. 

Mendez Advocacy receives referrals for the MAP grant from Montgomery County Children Youth and currently supports girls at Athena House.

Located in Chester Pennsylvania, Athena House, provides trauma-informed care and housing for young women ages 13-20 who are delinquent and/or dependent, neglected, or who are referred for placement by the Juvenile Court or Department of Social Services. Athena House provides these young women with a structured, holistic environment where they can develop psychologically, socially, educationally, and personally.


Nicole Mendez is a member of COPAA and completed the Special Education Advocate Training (SEAT) 2.0. SEAT is a year long intensive special education advocacy training.


Radnor Committee for Special Education & The PA Inclusion Collective 

Nicole Mendez is a founding Board Member of the Radnor Committee for Special Education (RCSE). A parent led 501c3 that supports families with special education needs in Radnor School District. She is also a founding member of The PA Inclusion Collective, a consortium of parent special education committees and alliances that focuses on increasing  inclusive practices within their respective districts and across PA.
